Richard Dreyer
Richard Dreyer, “Dick”, 77, of the Augusta Area Nursing Home and formerly of Milwaukee, passed away Saturday morning, July 25, 2015 at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. 

Richard Frederick Dreyer, son of Wilbur and Lola Dreyer was born August 30, 1937 in Milwaukee. Dick lived all of this life in Milwaukee until his recent admission in May to the Augusta Area Nursing Home. Dick was baptized and confirmed at the United Brethren Church. He attended grade school and graduated high school in Milwaukee, in addition to attending college. Dick was united in marriage to Diane Geisdorf of Fairchild, on August 29, 1964 in Milwaukee. For over 37 years he was employed by the Allen-Bradley Company of Milwaukee. When he was working Dick had enjoyed weekends up north and extended trips after his retirement, especially the time spent on their rural property in Greenwood. He had also enjoyed looking up information on his computer and listening to spiritual and business related programs on television.  

Dick had been in ill health for several years which recently required the care of the Augusta Area Nursing Home.

Dick will be dearly missed by his wife Diane of Milwaukee; son James (Rachel) Dreyer of Huron, South Dakota and their daughters, Aurora and Cheyanne Dreyer; 3 sisters, his twin Patricia (Kenneth) Siegesmund of Brookfield, Karen Semrad of Peewaukee, Jean (Rudy) Merz of Riverwoods, Illinois. He is further survived by Diane’s siblings, Donald Geisdorf of Fairchild, Patricia Palkowski of Independence, Nancy Scholze of Fairchild, Jane Mayer (David Hoppa) of Neillsville, Karen Geisdorf of Fairchild and Rosalyn Geisdorf of Augusta; and their families.  

Dick was preceded in death by his parents; brother Glen Dreyer; and father and mother-in-law, James and Angeline Geisdorf.  

Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, July 31, 2015 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta, with Pastor Lon Jury officiating. Burial will be in the Fairchild Cemetery.
