Mae was a kind, gentle and witty lady. In conversation with her she would always come up with some comment that would make you laugh! She never let anything get past her as she was as smart as a tack. She always kept current with events of the world and would have her opinion on them, which brought out her Dutch heritage. Her church was a very important part of her life. Mae was an honest and hard working classy lady who enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, her flowers and her home. As her initials read…MELT…that is what she did to our hearts! She will be missed but never forgotten!

Her family would like to thank Dr. Jad Roeske and his clinic staff, the staff of Mayo Clinic Health System-Oakridge hospital and nursing home and Hospice for their wonderful care and compassion of a very important person in our life.
