Vivian Reh
Vivian J. Reh, 81, of rural Augusta, passed away with her family at her side on Saturday afternoon, September 8, 2012 , at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. 

Vivian June Reh, daughter of Robert and Vera (Hopp) Gilbertson, was born February 24, 1931, in Elgin, Illinois. She was raised in Elgin, where she was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith. She attended elementary school in Elgin, and graduated from Elgin High School in 1949. On February 23, 1952, she was united in marriage to Frank Reh at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Hampshire, Illinois. Vivian and Frank moved on to the Andrew and Kathrine Reh family farm in Hampshire, where they raised their family and operated the dairy farm. In addition to farming, Vivian had also been employed at the Play-skool factory on Hampshire, working on the puzzle line. While in Hampshire , she was active with the local 4-H Club and the horse riding club known as the Western Riders.  

In the late 1990’s, Vivian moved to the Town of Ludington, rural Augusta, making her home with her brothers, Arthur and Duane. After Duane passed away in November of 2004, she moved to her home on Coon Fork Road, just east of Augusta. In addition to spending time with her family, she enjoyed raising horses. No longer able to ride on the horses, she still enjoyed riding in horse drawn wagons in various local parades and whenever possible. 

She will be deeply missed by her 4 daughters, Debbie and Kevin Weaver of Elgin, Kathy and Kurt Jensen of Augusta, Carol and Larry Blazier of Phoenix, AZ, Nanette and James Stephens of South Elgin, IL; brother, Arthur Gilbertson of Chippewa Falls; sister, Barbara and Jack Weidmann of North Aurora, IL; 8 grandchildren, Matthew Palm, Jeremy Jensen, Laurie Hintz, Chris Jensen, Andrew “Drew� Blazier, Kelsie Blazier, Jonathan Blazier, Kathy Braddock; 6 great grandchildren, Ashlyn Palm, Hunter, Gabriel, Luke and Haley Jensen, Destiny Braddock; 2 step-grandchildren, Michele and Frank Fiorito, Tony and Arlene Farina; and 4 step-great grandchildren, Nichols, Nadine, Marie and Caitlyn; and niece, Susan Gilbertson. Vivian was also preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Gwendy Reh on May 1, 2009.  

A visitation and viewing will be held on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta, with burial and services at a later date in River Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Elgin, Illinois. In lieu of flowers memorials can be given.Â
