Richard Huff
Richard L. Huff, 81, of 328 Washington St. Fall Creek, passed away Wed, May 30, 2012, at Oakwood Villa Nursing Home in Altoona, where he had been a resident since January of 2005.  

Richard Leslie Huff, son of Clifford and Ida (Herman) Huff was born January 14, 1931 in Chippewa County. He was raised in the Cadott area, where he attended country school and Cadott High School. Before finishing high school he entered the United States Army and was stationed in Germany during the Korean Conflict. While in the service he finished high school and one year of college. Richard was united in marriage to Barbara Perkovich on Sept. 23, 1957 in Stillwater, Minnesota. The couple lived all their married life in Fall Creek, except for 6 years when they made their home in Elk Mound. Richard and Barbara owned and operated Lone Birch Auto Sales just east of Fall Creek on U.S. Highway 12. They eventually moved their dealership a short distance away on County Highway D. Richard retired from his business of selling and automotive repair in 2001. When not working he enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling and trying his luck at the casinos. 
 

He will be deeply missed by Barbara, his wife of 54 years; 2 daughters, Tammy (Fynn) Jorgenson of Colorado, Janet (Bill) Meyer of Elk Mound; son, Bradley Huff of Fall Creek; 3 grandchildren, Pamela (Kenny) Kost, Jonathan Meyer and Kyrinna Perlman; 5 siblings, Ruth Tollefson of Baldwin, Jim Huff Sr. , Kenneth (Carol) Huff, Betty (Don) Woodford all of Fall Creek, Arnold (Vivian) Huff of Fairchild; brother-in-law, Bill Ruff of Fall Creek; several nieces and nephews . 

He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 infant brothers, sister Carol Ruff on Feb. 4, 2012 and brother-in-law, Andrew Tollefson.

Funeral services will be held Wed. June 6, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta, with Pastor Cal Siegel officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Seymour Township. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
