Carol Ruff
Carol Ruff, 70, of E14270 Curler Road, Fall Creek, passed away Saturday evening, Feb. 4, 2012, at her home in the loving care of her family and St. Joseph's Hospice.

Carol Jean Ruff, daughter of Clifford and Ida (Herman) Huff, was born Nov. 11, 1941 in Chippewa County. She graduated from Fall Creek High School in 1959 and also attended Wisconsin State University in Eau Claire. She married Bill Ruff on July 31, 1965 in Fall Creek. Carol was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Seymour Township. She continued her membership at Zion, where she was an active trustee and ladies aid member and also helped with the church cemetery. She had worked at Fabritech in Eau Claire, before working 14 years bottling milk at Hamm's Hillside Dairy in Cadott. She served as the Eau Claire Chapter Coordinator with Thrivent Insurance. At home she enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, canning, baking, reading and attending garage sales.

She will be deeply missed by her husband of 46 years, Bill and their daughter, Kimberly Ruff of rural Fall Creek; 6 siblings, Richard (Barb) Huff of Fall Creek, Ruth Tollefson of Baldwin, Jim Huff Sr., Kenneth (Carol) Huff, Betty (Don) Woodford, all of Fall Creek, Arnold (Vivian) Huff of Fairchild; Bill's siblings, Judy (Jim) Kiesow and Linda Woodford, all of Fall Creek, Laurene Ruff of Augusta; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 infant brothers and brothers-in-law, Andrew Tollefson, Larry Ruff and Harold Woodford.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Seymour Township, with Pastor Cal Siegel officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta, and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.

The family would like to take this opportunity to thank St. Joseph's Homecare and Hospice for the wonderful care shown to Carol and the family. We will be forever grateful.
