Dane Breheim
Dane C. Breheim, 52, formerly of Merrillan, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2012 at St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo, Wisconsin, after suffering a massive heart attack.
Dane Clark Breheim, son of Wilbur and Hazel (Dunn) Breheim, was born Nov. 22, 1959. He was raised in the Merrillan area where he was baptized at the United Methodist Church and attended Merrillan Elementary School. He graduated from Alma Center High School. He was united in marriage to Jane Bertrang in Merrillan, and to this union 2 children were born. Dane lived in the Merrillan and Blair area until moving to Baraboo four years ago. While in Blair he had worked at a local saw mill. Dane enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with family and friends.
He will be deeply missed by his 2 daughters, Jessica Breheim of Fairchild, Maranda Breheim and David Blum of Fairchild; 4 grandchildren, Kylee Hurst, Mikaela Pope, Camden White and Payton Blum; 6 brothers, Wilbert and Vonnie Breheim,, George Breheim, all of Merrillan, Brad and Rose Breheim of Minnesota, Ernie and Lucy Breheim of Indiana, Derrick and Cheryl Brehem of Hixton, Richard and Rita Breheim of Stevens Point: 4 sisters, Cheryl Morgan, Vernetta and Sam O’Brien, Kathy and William Myers all of Merrillan and Carol and Ray Tyler of Humbird; several nieces and nephews. Dane was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Hazel, infant sister, Coral and 2 sons at birth, Justin and Dane Jr.
Memorial graveside services will be held Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. the Curtis Cemetery in Garden Valley Township. The cemetery is located on Old Stage Road, about 2 miles t south of the intersection of County Road B and Old Stage Road. The family is assisted by the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta.
