Joan Will
Joan Will of Fairchild, Wisconsin, passed away on February 20, 2026.
Joan was born August 6, 1935 to Clarence and Georgine (Bergerson) Johnson. After the death of her father her family moved to Fairchild, Wisconsin in July of 1939. She was a faithful life-long member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Fairchild.
On September 7, 1957, she married Charles Will. They farmed their whole lives. She was an elementary librarian for the Osseo-Fairchild schools for many years.
She is survived by her children: Cathy and Craig Miles, Larry and Julie Will, and Linda and Matt Wirth; her grandchildren, Kelli and Chase Hedlund, Terah and Sam Breuer, Adam Will, Nicole and Andrew Buckoski, Terri and Kyle Schutz, Megan and Nate Regal; her great grandchildren, Miles and Markie Hedlund, Macie Breuer, Saibyn Will, Briauna and Bennett Buckoski, Lennon, Maddox, Knox, and Logan Schutz, and Griffin and Gavin Regal.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband Charles, her parents, grandson Mark, sister Jean Holman, brothers Jack, Jerry, and Jim Johnson.
She always said, “I’ve had a good life.” She was a kind soul that spread her generosity to many. Well done my good and faithful servant.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In recognition of Joan’s long-time and faithful membership at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fairchild, the recently sold church will be honored to welcome Joan’s family and friends for a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, April 6, 2026. The service will be conducted by Pastor Jonathan Wessel. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. A private family burial will take place at Fairchild Cemetery.
