Joe Neitzke
Joseph Henry Neitzke, 80, of Osseo, WI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Dove Healthcare-West in Eau Claire, WI.

Joe was born December 22, 1945, to Vernon and Irene (Sluga) Neitzke. He grew up in Pleasantville, WI, along with his siblings on the family farm. Upon graduation from Whitehall High School, Joe entered the United States Marine Corps, serving in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged after four years and then worked for Presto in Eau Claire for a short time.

Joe met Pamela Johnson and they married November 27, 1971. In 1972, Joe and Pam purchased a farm of their own in Osseo where they raised their two children. Joe enjoyed helping his children with the cattle for the County Fair. He continued as a dairy farmer until his retirement in 2005. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, gardening, watching westerns, reading, and riding his four-wheeler.

He was very proud of his military service and fellow veterans. Joe was privileged to be able to go on a Freedom Honor Flight in 2019.

Joe was a hardworking, honest, gentle, and caring man who would do anything to help someone in need.

Joe is survived by his son, Michael (Jennifer) Neitzke; daughter, Jennifer (John) Ristau; grandchildren, Anthony (Andrea) Neitzke and Georgia Neitzke; siblings, Dennis Neitzke and Linda (Scott) Rongstad; sister-in-law, Linda Curtis; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Pam; parents, Vernon and Irene Neitzke; siblings, Wallace, Gordon and David Neitzke; Pam’s parents, Robert and June Johnson; and siblings, Karen Johnson, Susan Carlson; niece, Rebecca Neitzke; and beloved dog, Wilson.
