Scott Connor
Scott Howard Connor, 60, of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on August 28, 2026.
Born on March 21, 1966 in Independence, Iowa, he was the son of Gary Alfred Connor and Dorothy Marie Connor. Scott graduated from Bloomer High School in 1984. He proudly enlisted in the United States Army, serving honorably from 1985 to 1991, achieving the rank of Sergeant First Class (SFC).
Scott took on many different roles throughout his life. He was a brother, the youngest of the crew, one who looked forward to the annual family reunions, where he could joke with his siblings and reminisce. He was a dependable friend, the kind you could reach out to when you needed a hand, and you knew that he'd be there...20 minutes early. Scott was a Wisconsin sports fanatic. He preferred to spend his time cheering on the Brewers, Badgers, and the Green & Gold. He was an incredible cook, and some would say that his love language was serving up a feast of freshly smoked pulled pork off of his Pit Boss. Scott also enjoyed a fall Harley motorcycle ride up to the local wineries, music blasting, with his stuffed Minion companion fastened snuggly to his handlebars. Scott's most treasured role, however, was being "dad" to his sons Ryan and Bryce. The boys' favorite activities included playing baseball, tossing the ol' pigskin around, playing videogames together, and sharing stories late into the night around a warm firepit until the flames fizzled out.
Scott is survived by his sons, Ryan (Hannah) Connor, and Bryce (Allie) Connor of Eau Claire, WI; Ryan's children Addison (3) and Hudson (1) Connor of Eau Claire, WI; his siblings John (Chris) Connor, Vicki Bone, Henry Connor, Gary (Diane) Connor, Tracy (Maggie) Connor, and Kelle (Steve) Millard; and his brothers-in-law Roger Olsen and Bob Wildenberg.
He is preceded in death by his parents Gary and Dorothy Connor; sisters Sue Olsen and Penne Wildenberg; and brother-in-law Frank Bone.
A celebration of life is being planned for late fall; details will be shared accordingly.
To honor Scott's memory, the family welcomes donations to the Veteran Cancer Network and the National Cancer Institute.
