Marvin Joles
Marvin James Joles Jr., 57, of Augusta, passed away suddenly and very unexpectedly at home on Monday evening, December 15, 2025.

Marvin was born August 1, 1968, in Billings, Montana, the son of Marvin Sr. and Susan Joles. He lived most of his life in Wisconsin. In 2003, he met Dina Spagnola and the couple later married in 2007. Since 2007, they have made their home in Augusta, where Marvin especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Marvin, being an amazing man, was very dedicated to his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Marvin loved the outdoors and all that Wisconsin had to offer. He enjoyed camping with his family, fishing, hunting, kayaking, and in recent years had developed a strong interest in frisbee golf, so much so that he even enjoyed watching it on television. Marvin was also involved in a Horseshoe League while residing in Augusta and enjoyed his time spent with his sidekick, who was his son Gatlin.

Throughout his life, Marvin worked in asphalt maintenance as a self-employed contractor, maintaining asphalt for many homes and businesses throughout the area. In recent years, he was proud to work alongside his children, Jesse, Gatlin, and Nataly, in the family business.

Marvin will be dearly missed by his wife, Dina Joles; 5 sons, Marvin (Nikki) Joles of Nashville, TN, Joseph Joles of New Hampshire, Christopher Joles of Fox Lake, Jesse (Jessica) Joles of Augusta, Gatlin Joles (Ariana) of Augusta; 2 daughters, Sharee (Jeremy) Jones of Prior Lake, MN, and Nataly Joles (Jarrett) of Augusta; sister, Misty of Wisconsin; and his 15 beloved grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Sr. and Susan Joles; brother Benny Joles; and his sister Monalisa White.

A celebration of Marvin’s life will be held at noon on Saturday, December 20th, 2025, at the Augusta Church, 1225 W. Lincoln Street, Augusta.

The family is being assisted by Anderson Funeral Home of Augusta.
