Joe Moyle
Joseph Robert Moyle, 56, of Chippewa Falls and formerly of Augusta, WI and Appleton, WI, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, in Shakopee, MN.

Joe was born March 15, 1967, in Woodruff, Wisconsin. As a child his family moved to Augusta, where he attended grade school and graduated from Augusta High School in 1985.

For ten years Joe had managed Wagner’s 66 ½ Lanes in Eau Claire and while there he met the love of his life, Kathryn “Katie” Walker. The couple later married on March 7, 1998, in Maui, Hawaii, which was one of their favorite destinations.

After leaving employment with Wagner’s Joe and Katie moved to Appleton, WI where they lived for 20 year. While in Appleton, Joe managed a hotel in Appleton for 10 years and for the past 16 years, he was employed by Kerry Food Service as a Senior Regional Sales Rep. To be closer to family and friends Joe, Katie and his two youngest daughters moved to Chippewa Falls, WI in 2017.

Joe and Katie thoroughly enjoyed traveling to tropical locations to scuba dive. However, Joe was equally satisfied at Coon Fork Park kayaking, swimming with family and friends and just enjoying the view. He was an avid golfer and looked forward to his many golf outings with his friends. Just being outdoors and especially on the water made Joe happy.

Throughout his life, Joe was a thoughtful and kind friend & father, and an especially hard worker who brought so much joy to those he connected with. He will be deeply missed by Katie, his loving wife of 25 years; 3 daughters, Nikole (Zach) Arnott of Tomahawk; and Kaia and Piper Moyle both at home; grandson Brant Arnott; 2 sisters, Kelly Barka of Loyal, Doralynn Moyle (DuWayne Wik) of Augusta; 2 brothers, Jerud (Deanna) Moyle of Augusta, Jason Moyle of Mondovi; father and mother-in-law, Fred and Joan Walker of Eau Claire; several nieces and nephews; and a host of cherished friends including, Gary Johnston, Mike Herrick, Loren Wahlen, and Mike Baker to name a few and several co-workers that he considered friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Janice; sister Kimberly; brothers-in-laws, Rick and Mark Walker and several aunts and uncles throughout the years.

Per the request of several of Joes co-workers and friends, an account has been set up at Royal Credit Union in Joes memory.

A private funeral service for family and close friends is planned for Friday, July 7th from 1 - 3pm. A visitation and memorial for all will be available Friday, July 7, from 3:30 - 7pm at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta, WI. After paying your respect, please join family and friends at the Augusta Lions Club to get a bite to eat, share stories and to raise a glass to Joe.
