Chase Ladwig
Chase Duane Ladwig, son of Chad Ladwig and Amanda (Olson) Ladwig was born April 14, 2005, in Eau Claire, WI.

Chase was raised in Fairchild and attended school in Merrillan before entering Osseo Fairchild High School where he graduated in 2023. When he was old enough to work he had worked in Fairchild for Berger Custom Hardwoods and Bertrang Roofing.
Chase grew up fishing on the pond in Fairchild and over the years he and his big brother Charlie had many great times fishing throughout Wisconsin. He also enjoyed hunting, long boarding and playing football in middle school, but fishing was his passion. Chase had a tremendous sense of humor and when visiting with family and friends he was always the life of the party. He was an avid Bears fan and had a good Bears-Packer rivalry with his beloved aunt Doty.

Chase passed away at his home in Fairchild early Monday morning, November 6, 2023, at the age of 18 years, 6 months and 23 days. He will be forever missed and dearly loved by his mother Amanda

Ladwig of Fairchild; father Chad (Amy) Ladwig of Black River Falls;
older brother Charlie Ladwig (Hannah Sommers) of Augusta, younger brother Cole Cantu of Fairchild; newborn niece Violet Ladwig; grandparents, Steve Olson of Fairchild, Christine Ladwig of Tomahawk and LuAnn Cantu of Osseo; aunts and uncles, Joshua Olson (Rose Woodford) of Fairchild, Jessica (Gary) Katterhagen of Baxter, MN, Tina (Chris) Johnson of Prentice; special friend Shandra Sommers of Augusta; several cousins, other relatives and many friends.

 Chase was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Bonnie Olson; paternal grandfather Niel Ladwig; aunt Doty Rogalski; and special great aunt Tina Grimm.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, November 12, 2023, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta.
