Stacey Krenz
Stacey L. Krenz, 54, of Foster, passed away at home early Sunday morning April 30, 2023, in the care of her family and Heartland (ProMedica) Hospice.

Stacey was born on Sept. 19, 1968, to Leonard Jr. and Sandra (Rubenzer) Martinson. She lived all of her life in Otter Creek Township, where she was raised on a farm with her 2 sisters and 3 brothers. She was baptized at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Augusta, attended grade school in Augusta and graduated from Augusta High School in 1987. Following her graduation she worked for Foster Cenex and it was here that she meant her future husband Bruce Krenz. The couple were united in marriage on May 11, 1991, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Foster, and at this time Stacey became a confirmed member of St. Peter’s.

In 1993 the couple took over the Krenz family farm in Otter Creek Township, and after that started their own family in 1994, and were eventually blessed with 3 children. In addition to milking cows with her husband and raising her children, Stacey went back to school and in 2007 graduated with a degree as a dental hygienist. She worked 12 years at the Marshfield Clinic in Eau Claire, she had also worked in Augusta, and when ill health forced her retirement in December of 2022, she was working for Rivertown Dental Office in Arcadia. While employed she truly gave of herself to her patients and through the years developed and cherished the friendships she made with them as well as her co-workers.

Spending time with her family meant everything to Stacey. She was blessed to have had the opportunity to baby sit her 1 year old grandson Maximillion for the past year. She also loved dogs and provided a good and playful home to many or them over the years. Early in her marriage and as a stay at home mom she taught herself how to quilt, which she also enjoyed doing.

Stacey will be deeply missed by Bruce, her loving husband of nearly 32 years; 3 children, Allison and James Martin of Bloomer, Caleb Krenz and Grace Krenz both of Augusta; and adored grandson Maximillion Martin. She will also be dearly missed by her sister, Sherri (Rick) Schmitt of Augusta; and brothers, Brian (Traci) Martinson of Augusta and Brad (Amber) Martinson of Cadott; several nieces and nephews. Stacey was preceded in death by her father Leonard on April 8,1996, mother Sandra on Feb. 20, 2001; infant brothers, Jesse and Brent; sister Shelley Steinke on July 4, 2018; and father and mother-in-law, David and Janice Krenz.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and care team with the oncology department of the Marshfield Clinic in Eau Claire and ProMedica Hospice of Eau Claire. All your kindness, concern and efforts will never be forgotten.

A visitation will be held Thursday, May 4, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Foster with Pastor David Knefelkamp officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may also call 1 hour prior to services Friday at the church.

Following the burial a lunch will be served at the Foster Rec. Center next to the Foster Bar.
