Diane Huth
Diane Joyce Huth, 88, of Cadott, passed away Sunday evening, December 10, 2023, at home with her family by her side.
Daughter of Henry and Grace (Hanson) Skoug, she was born August 11, 1935, at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. She graduated from Chetek High School in 1953 and UW-Whitewater in 1957. She then taught at the Prairie Farm and Bloomer Schools until her marriage.

Diane was united in marriage to Roger Huth on July 1, 1966, at Dovre Lutheran Church in rural New Auburn. They farmed south of Boyd, until retiring to Cadott in 1995.
Mom was an example to us and everyone she knew with her devotion to faith, love and hardwork. She is most likely milking holsteins or feeding polled herefords in Heaven with Dad, as sitting around was not her style. Mom loved serving with the Bethlehem Ladies Aid for 50 years. Before being married, she very much enjoyed and made life-long friends with her students and later with Sunday school students during her marriage. Mom would always find the “good” in anyone and any situation. She will be deeply missed.

Diane is survived by her five sons, Charles (Sandra) of Boyd, Richard (Kirsten) of Cameron, Arvid (Jolene) of Boyd, Benjamin (Holly) of Boyd, Maynard (Rebecca) of Hudson. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, Kayla (Greg) Perez, Weston, Gina, Eric, Henry, Hayden, Adeline, Eben, Hank, Eva, Isaac, Oliver, Everett, Greta, and Roger Huth; and her great grandson Zoen Perez. Other family members include her sister-in-law Beverly Skoug and brother-in-law Duane Springborn; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, David and Darrell Skoug; husband Roger; brothers-in-law, Arnold, Clarence and Lester Huth; sisters-in-law Florence Springborn, Muriel Skoug, Martha Huth, Carmen Huth and Maxie May Huth.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 18, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ludington Township, rural Fall Creek, with Pastor James Norton officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 17th at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church. Following the burial a lunch will be served at the church.

Thank you to the staff at Luther Mayo Hospital and St. Croix Hospice for their wonderful care and guidance this past month.
