Adam Hawkins
On September 29, 2023 Adam Clark Hawkins, 52 of Augusta, WI passed away with his family by his side. This “last ride” came very unexpectedly but Adam always said “when my ticket is punched, it’s my time, I’ve had a good life!” Adam was an extraordinary individual – with creativity, abilities, and love of life and family that only others could hope for.
Adam and Colleen married in 2007 and 2008, yes 2 times, but again…not much was traditional with Adam. They lived in a beautiful country setting outside Augusta, Wisconsin loving their peaceful surroundings. That peacefulness was routinely interrupted though by the sound of motorcycle engines reviving. Adam rode bike any chance he got. He spent every winter in the garage doing something to one of his bikes. Regardless how many times he would say, “ok, it’s perfect, no more changes”. There would be more changes next winter.
Adam was blessed with 4 children – Grace, Dallas, Jordan, and Muriel. Parenting is the most challenging job there is, and there were many bumps in the road along the way, but Adam loved being a dad.
Adam was Army Airborne Ranger and very proud to have served our country. His working years included construction with his Uncles Don and Steve Hawkins; and then computers – he was a networking/computer specialist with Imagineering and Dell Computers.
Adam’s adventures took him to many places, experienced new things, allowed him to meet so many, many people…some of which became life-long friends. Thanks to everyone who was a part of his life!
The visitation for Adam will be on Sunday, October 8th at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta from 11 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. with the memorial service immediately following.
We hope to see you there, so we can enjoy many smiles and laughs while reminiscing. A lunch will follow at the Augusta Lions Hall.
