Ronald Flick
Ronald Flick, 81, life long resident of Fairchild, passed away peacefully with family at his side on Saturday morning, June 17, 2023, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

Ron, son of Harold and Louise (Olson) Flick was born June 30, 1941, at home in Fairchild. He was raised on a farm with his 6 siblings and attended school in Fairchild. He had worked on the farm with his family before starting with the Soo-Line Railroad, working with them for 10 years. He had also logged for himself but the majority of his life he worked as a self employed auto mechanic. He never fully retired as his favorite pastime was also fixing and tinkering with automobiles. He loved being able to confidently get people the proper parts to get their vehicles running. He was a kind person that took pride in helping others.
When relaxing he looked forward to watching wrestling on Friday nights, old westerns and the Wheel of Fortune. He also enjoyed trying his luck at the casinos.

Ron will be dearly missed by Linda (Jones) Flick who he was united in marriage to in 1970 at Waukon, Iowa; 2 daughters, Michelle (C.D.) Simion of Fairchild, Melinda Lee of Osseo; 5 sons, Joseph Flick of Fairchild, Daryl Flick of Altoona, Ronald (Kathy) Flick of Neillsville and Bruce and James Flick; several grand and great grandchildren; brother Douglas Flick of Black River Falls; sister Shirley Bertrang of Fairchild; half siblings, Lori Flick Gregori, Gaylord, Adam, Dan, Clifton and Beryle Skaar; many nieces, nephews and other family members.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Louise Flick; 4 brothers, Harold “Sonny” Flick, Arlen Flick, Richard “Richie” Flick, Eugene “Gene” Flick; and half brother Bill Skaar.
