Patricia Bohl
Patricia Ann (Lehman) Bohl, daughter of William and Mary Lehman was born May 1, 1943, in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. She was raised in Parlin, New Jersey, and it was there that she met Wisconsin native Eugene H. Bohl who was stationed in New Jersey while serving in the United States Army. The couple was united in marriage on March 1, 1970.

They began their married life together in Freehold, New Jersey, and later that year the military moved them to Manassas, Virginia. Their next move was to Fort Richardson near Anchorage, Alaska, where they spent the next 30 years. At this time in her life in addition to raising their two sons, Pat worked in book keeping and accounting at the Anchorage School District, until she retired.
In the year 2000 the couple moved to Great Falls, Montana, before moving back to Juneau, Alaska, in 2003. Their next adventure was to Centralia, Washington, where they lived until Gene retired in 2011.
For the next 10 years the couple enjoyed traveling throughout the United States in their motor home and spent many enjoyable months visiting family and friends. They always looked forward to an extended stay in Augusta, Wisconsin, to spend time with the Bohl family. In 2022 they put down roots in Benson, Arizona, where they enjoyed the weather and time spent with their neighbors.

Pat suddenly took ill and was taken to Tucson Medical Center where she passed away October 19, 2023, from complications of a staph infection at Peppi’s Hospice House, Tucson Medical Center. She had reached the age of 80 years, 5 months and 18 days.

Pat’s warm heart and beautiful smile will be deeply missed by Gene, her loving and devoted husband of 53 years; two sons, Eugene Jr and Laurie Bohl of Wasilla, Alaska, and Raymond Bohl of Juneau, Alaska; four grandchildren, Sara (Zack) Albers, Kayla, Christen and Ryan Bohl; Gene’s siblings, Joyce and Ron Thomley of Baldwin, Rosemary Paulich of Eau Claire, Ron and Cindy Bohl of Minocqua, Gloria and Ken Zich of Augusta, Goldyne and John Shilts of rural Boyd, Kenneth and Lisa Bohl and Verna and Ken Grams all of rural Fairchild, and Lynn Bohl and Amy Saltness of rural Augusta; many nieces, nephew and their families.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Lehman; brother William Lehman Jr.: sister Beverly Rappleyea; father and mother-in-law, Harold and Frances Bohl; and brothers in-law, Rick Bohl and Frank Paulich Sr.

A Celebration of Pat’s life was held Friday, October 27, 2023, with family in friends in Benson, Arizona.

Locally a Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Augusta-Bridge Creek Fire Station.
