Donald Woodford
Donald L. Woodford, Sr., 82, of Fall Creek, passed away Friday, December, 31, 2022 at Care Partners-Memory Care, in Altoona, WI. 

Don was born on July 20, 1940 in the Town of Pleasant Valley, Eau Claire County, to Loyal and Marie (Pederson) Woodford. 
He married Betty Huff on May 14, 1960 at Our Redeemer’s Church in Eau Claire. He farmed for many years and worked several different jobs; including erecting pole buildings for Menards and he also spent many years as patrolman for the Town of Ludington. He also took care of the township cemeteries. 

Don was there for whoever needed help and was very talented at fixing anything and everything. He always found a way to get the job done. 
In 1994, Don and Betty turned their farm over to their son and spent many happy winters in Arizona. He worked on a feed lot to pass the time and enjoyed it so much. 

Don was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Seymour, where he was baptized and confirmed. He always tried to help there when needed, as well. 

Don is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Betty and their son, Don (Kelly) Jr., of Fall Creek; four grandchildren; Carrie (Joe Hickey) Woodford of Holcombe, Rose (Josh Olson) Woodford of Fairchild, Rebecca (Nathan) Dewitz of Augusta, Nathan (Chelsea) Woodford of Augusta; Eleven great-grandchildren, Chloe, Kaylee, Chandra, Aubrie, Liam, Payton, Bryson, Addyson, Kriston, Autumn and Olivia; two sisters, Joyce Gerdes & Joanne Linder of Red Wing, MN; brother: Lyle (Laura) Woodford of Fall Creek; brothers-in-law, Bill Ruff and Jim Huff, Sr., both of Fall Creek; and Arnie Huff of Osseo. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews and a special niece Kim Ruff of Fall Creek. 

Don was proceeded in death by his parents, Loyal and Marie; grandson, Jeremiah Woodford; sisters, Bernice Dekan, Ragena Albrecht and Carol Huff; brother, Roger Woodford; sisters-in-law, Linda Woodford, Ruth Tollefson, Carol Ruff, Barb Huff and Vivian Huff; brothers-in-law, Herman Linder, Tom Gerdes, Leonard Dekan, Ken Huff, Cliff Albrecht, Andy Tollefson and Dick Huff. 

A visitation will be held Friday, January 6, 2023, from 4 to 7 p.m at Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Seymour Township, with burial in the church cemetery. 

 Friends may also call one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
