Terry Bowman
Terri R. Bowman, 61, formerly of Fairchild, passed away in hospice care at her home in Alma Center early Thursday morning, March 31, 2022.
Terri Rae Bowman, daughter of Shirley Johnson was born Sept. 30, 1960, in Elk Horn, WI. As a child she moved to Alma Center, where she graduated high school in 1979. Terri went on to attend Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire, and with her training she went on to worked as a CNA for 37 years. She started working at the Fairchild Nursing Home and then took a position with Jackson County Social Services. Prior to her retirement, for 10 years she took clients into her home and cared for them through Family Home Health Agency.
In addition to her health field work, for over 30 years she worked seasonally for Stanley Strawberries in Humbird.
Terri loved golfing, especially her participation with the Wednesday Women’s League at the Osseo Golf Course. She also enjoyed riding ATV with the Fairchild ATV Group and camping and fishing with family and friends. She was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and bird watcher.
Terri will be dearly miss by her 3 sisters, Wanda and Charles Edwards of Hicksville, Ohio, Sandy and Tim Edwards of Black River Falls, Janet Hibdon of Oceanside, CA; sister-in-law Elaine Bowman of Merrillan; several nieces and nephews; and goods friends, Becky Stanley of Humbird and Diane Derrier of Egan, MN.
Terri was preceded in death by her parents; and brother Jeff Bowman.
Memorial services will be held Friday, April 8, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Alma Center Assembly of God with Rev. Joshua G. John officiating.
Burial will be at a later date in the Merrillan Cemetery.
Friends may call 1 hour prior to services at the church.
A luncheon will be served immediately following the services at the church.
