Patricia A. Segura, 71, of Augusta, passed away early Monday morning January 25, 2021, at her home in the care of her family and recent St. Joseph’s Hospice service.
Patricia Ann Segura, daughter of Charles and Alice (Kunick) Wallis was born June 15, 1949, in Racine, WI. She was raised with her sisters in Racine where she attended Park High School. In December of 1967 she was united in marriage in Racine to Roger Segura Jr. and to this union 6 children where born. For the most part Patricia was a stay at home mom and enjoyed helping with her grandchildren and also worked with daycare children as well. In 1993, Patricia left Racine and moved to Elk Horn, WI, before moving to Augusta in 2014. Patricia appreciated Wisconsin sports and was a avid fan of the Packer, Brewers, Bucks and Badgers. She would often watch one of the games on television while listening to another one on the radio. Her children have fond memories of attending many of the Brewer games in Milwaukee. She loved listening to music from Doo Wop to Mexican tunes. She had always enjoyed the time spent with the extended Segura family as well as her own, especially all the couple outings the families did together. In later years when she spent more time at home you could usually find her with a crochet hook in hand, as she made countless hats, mittens and stocking for her children and grandchildren as well as blankets and tree skirts. She will be remembered fondly as the grandma who loved baking delicious sweets for the grand and greatgrandchildren.
Patricia will be deeply missed by her 2 sons, Christian Segura of Augusta; Roger Segura III of Racine; 2 daughters, Sarah Segura and Nicole and Jim Pierce all of Augusta; 8 grandchildren, Alicia, Alex, Heather, Joshua, Tre, Trenton, McKenna and Alexis; 11 great grandchildren, Mason, Emma, Cosette, Matthew, Chevalier, Christian, Nolahn, Rolland, Aaron, Macie and Felicity, with baby boy Segura soon to arrive; 3 sisters, Beverly, Sharon and Pamela.
