She was raised with her 8 siblings in the rural Cadott area and attended Sigel Country School. Esther was united in marriage on June 9, 1962, to Larry Brown at the Lutheran Church in Cadott, and together the couple with their children had lived in New Holstein, Lake Wissota, Thorp, Stanley and Cadott. Esther was a kind and gentle soul that loved her family and loved taking care of them. No one ever went hungry around her, as she was an excellent baker and cook that always shared. She also enjoyed all the children she baby sat for during the years she was raising her own children. She took pride in her flower gardens had a real fondness for the dogs she raised as well as her current lap companion Tigers her cat.
