Betty Vojtik
Betty Ann Vojtik, age 76, passed away on October 6, 2019 at Fountainhead Homes in Madison, Wisconsin after a long battle with Vascular Dementia.
The daughter of Henry and Evelyn (Matysik) Kohn, she was born on November 8, 1942. Betty was raised on the family farm and graduated from Fairchild High School. On June 1, 1961, she was united in marriage to Frank C. Vojtik of Fairchild at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. They moved to Madison, Wisconsin where they raised their two daughters, Debbie and Lori.While raising her two daughters, Betty took care of over 20 foster babies until they were adopted. When her daughters were older, she worked in the food service industry, including many years at St.Mary’s Hospital.
Betty will be dearly missed by Frank, her loving husband of 58 years; 2 daughters, Debbie (Dan) Jackson of Madison, Wisconsin and Lori (Greg) Troemner of Sylvania, Ohio; their grandson, Matthew Troemner of Chicago, Illinois; her brother Larry Kohn of Fairchild, Wisconsin and her sister Shirley Petznick of Black River Falls, Wisconsin. Betty was preceded in death by her parents,Evelyn and Henry Kohn.
Services will be held Saturday October 26th at 1:00 p.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church in Fairchild, Wisconsin, with Father Dan Thelen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Friends may call 1 hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
