Minnie Scholze
Minnie E. Scholze, 64, of rural Humbird, passed away Monday evening, July 2, 2018,at her home following a short illness.  

Minnie Elaine Scholze, daughter of Melvin and Helen (Thedin) Murray was born Oct.17, 1953, in Sidney, Montana. She was raised in Sidney where she graduated from high school in 1971. Following graduation she attended school before moving to Portland, Oregon, where she worked in the office and in sales for Market Supply. Minnie was united in marriage to Marvin Scholze on Dec. 3, 1976 in Spokane, WA. The couple lived all their married life in Mentor Township, rural Humbird, where they raised their family and owned and operated Scholze Farm. In addition to taking care of the paperwork for their dairy operation, she enjoyed tending to her vegetable and flower gardens, feeding and watching the birds and quilting. She loved to travel and for many years Minnie and Marvin spent the winters in McAllen, Texas. She had a tremendous faith in her Lord and Savior and was dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. 

  Minnie will be deeply missed by Marvin, her husband of 41 years; 2 sons, Theodore (Sarah) Scholze and William (Rebecca) Scholze all of Humbird; daughter Helen (Shaun) Hottell of Gillette, WY; 6 grandchildren, Nolan, Hannah and Elliot Hottell, Zoie and Owen Scholze and Liam Scholze; brother, Carl (Rosalee) Murray of Clarksburg, MO; 2 sisters, Karen (Dan) Zbylski of Spokane, WA, Mabel (Darrell) Berreth of Billings, MT; Marvin’s siblings, David (Sue) Scholze of Humbird, Allen (Barbara) Scholze of Eau Claire, Marilyn (Paul) Thomas of San Francisco, CA.  

She was preceded in death by her parents and niece, Rose Murray. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 8, 2018 in the Auditorium at Alma Center Lincoln High School, with burial in the Mentor Cemetery in Humbird.  

Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Sunday at the high school.
