Tonia Roberts
Tonia Louise Roberts, daughter of LeRoy and Louise (Howell) Sprinkle was born April 29, 1967 in Anaheim, CA, and 12 days later moved to Wisconsin.
Tonia attended Fairchild Elementary School and Osseo-Fairchild High School. Before graduating she moved to Germantown, WI, and it was there that she graduated high school in 1985. After graduation she moved to Eau Claire and attended Chippewa Valley Technical College. In 1991 she graduated with an associate degree in Hospitality Management and Tourism.In 1993 Tonia was united in marriage to William Riekemann. Tonia brought into this marriage her 2 children, Brittany and Morgan, and together the couple had Garrett and Natasha. After their divorce in 1998, Tonia moved with her children to the Fortworth area of Texas, settling in Grand Prairie. She eventually moved back to Fairchild to be closer to her family. Tonia was a loving mother and thoroughly enjoyed being a grandmother to Annabelle. She loved spending time with her family and friends, watching the Green Bay Packers and scrap booking. If you knew Tonia, you knew she was an avid fan of Prince and there wasn’t a song of his that she didn’t know by heart. She also had a soft spot for dogs and over the years provided a wonderful home to many dogs she rescued.
Tonia passed away in hospice care on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018 at her parents home in Eau Claire, reaching the age of 51 years, 5 months and 21 days. Tonia will be deeply missed by her 2 daughters, Brittany Morford of Eau Claire, Natasha Riekemann of Marshfield; 2 sons, Morgan Roberts of Houston, TX, Garrett Riekeman of Fort Worth, TX; beloved granddaughter, Annabelle Riekemann of Marshfield; her loving parents, LeRoy and Louise Sprinkle of Eau Claire, Clarence Roberts of Detroit, MI; 2 brothers, Stacy Sprinkle and Rodney (Michelle) Sprinkle all of Eau Claire; 3 nephews, Justyn, Devin (Allie) andDamien Sprinkle; great nephew Deacon; and father to her children William Riekemann. Memorial services will be held Friday, Oct. 26, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Augusta.
A visitation will be held Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church, and one hour prior to services on Friday at the church. Burial will be at a later date in the West Lawn Cemetery in Augusta.
