Sharon Lone
Sharon was born in Eau Claire, WI on August 11, 1962 and lost her fight with cancer on Wednesday evening, October 24, 2018, after a short stay at the Augusta Health and Rehabilitation.
Sharon was raised in Augusta, WI and graduated from Augusta High School in May of 1980.Sharon married Loren L. Lone of Augusta on March 21, 1981 and they had three wonderful children together, Michael, Jenny and Benjamin. Although they divorced in 1989, Loren and Sharon remained life long faithful friends until her passing.After her divorce Sharon met her fiancé Carson B. Taylor, originally from Milwaukee, WI. Carson and Sharon had two sons, Carson Jr. and Eric.Sharon enjoyed many things in life, playing her trumpet in the High School Band, Pep Band and Jazz Band, shooting pool league, bowling, fairs, watching her grandchildren, going to Disney World with all of her children, gardening and making salsa with her wonderful friend Cheryl Kath, and yes, bartending. Although she had many different jobs over the years, she really loved traveling all over the country in the semi with Carson. She was able to see 47 of the 50 states in five years, always coming home with stories to tell about her adventures and the beautiful scenery each state offered. Even though Carson and Sharon never married, she always considered the Taylor family her in-laws.
Sharon is survived by her parents, Gerald and Yvonne Silvernail (Augusta), ex-husband Loren (Donna) Lone (Augusta), fiancé CarsonB. Taylor (Humbird), Mother-in-law Vera Taylor (Fall Creek), children Jenny (Adam) King and Benjamin Lone, both of Augusta, Carson J. Taylor (Shannon Flynn) (Eau Claire) and Eric W. Taylor (Augusta), sisters Susan (Steve) Arndt and Sondra (James) Larson, both of Augusta, grandchildren Abbie, Cainnin, Lilly, Gavin and Owen, sisters-in-law Linda (Al), Jeanie (Joe), Cindy (Mike), Shelly, Susie & Julie Taylor, Judy and Mary Lone, Darlene Young, brothers-in-law Gary, Glenn & Duanne Lone, James and Kenny Taylor and Joe Young, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by mother and fathers in law Arlys and Gordon Lone and James Taylor Sr., son Michael G. Lone (Morgan), sisters-in-law LaVonne Lone and Jeanine Theiler, Dolly and Veeny Taylor, brothers-in-law Jay Ousey, Robert Waskiewicz, Larry Taylor and Brad Acker, nephews Patrick Ousey and LaMar Taylor, other relatives and good friends.
A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p. on Monday, Oct. 29, 2018 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Augusta, with Pastor Gary Sahs officiating. Friends may call 1 hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
Burial will be at a later date in the West Lawn Cemetery in Augusta.
