Mildred Fitzmaurice
Mildred Mae Fitzmaurice, “Millie”, 91, of the Augusta Health and Rehabilitation passed away Friday morning September 28, 2018 in St. Joseph’s Hospice Care at the nursing home.

Millie was born Sept. 1, 1927 in Janesville to Lei and Geneive (Wiseman) Fitzmaurice. While in Janesville she attended the School for the Blind. Millie lived all of her life with her parents until hermother passed away in 1978 and she entered the Neillsville Memorial Nursing Home. For the past 15 years she had been a resident of the Augusta Nursing Home and Augusta Health and Rehab. Millie always enjoyed attending the church services at the nursing homes and takingpart in any of their planned activities.  

Over the years she had been an inspiration to the people she met along the way. Millie was also preceded in death by her father in1987; and siblings, Robert and Richard Fitzmaurice and Hazel Holub. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Darlene Fitzmaurice of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; and several nieces, nephews and their families. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff of Augusta Health and Rehab for taking such good care of Millie and to everyone at the home that were a part of her loving family. 

A special thank you to Dr. Mark Gideonsen, Norma Timm and Millie Travis, your care and concerns will never be forgotten. 

  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018 at the United Methodist Church in Augusta, with services at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in the Town of Mentor Cemetery in Humbird. 

 The family is assisted by the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta.
