Becky Wilkinson
Rebecca Sue “Becky” (Warner) Wilkinson died tragically on Monday, June 19, 2017. Becky was born on October 28, 1950 to Robert and Bessie Warner.
Becky was a wonderful baker, enjoyed quilting and handwork and was an avid gardener. She had an outgoing and energetic personality. Becky worked alongside her husband at their service station and laundromat in Augusta, before moving to Merrillan and Black River Falls. She made many friends while employed at Falls Florist, Jackson County Bank and Castle Hill Supper Club. She was a devoted and compassionate soul and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
Becky leaves behind so many who loved her; Butch Wilkinson, her husband of 48 years; sons, Todd Wilkinson of Black River Falls and Dennis (Emily) Wilkinson and their children, Amara, Connor and Caitlin of Osseo; her mother Bessie (Jim) Whalen of Augusta; sister Wendy (Vern) Luedtke of Ludington; brothers, Wade (Cheryl) Warner of Augusta, Dusty Warner of Augusta, Cole Warner (Ann) of Holmen; sisters-in-law, Margaret Hadorn of Eau Claire, Ethel (Bob) Holmberg of Menomonie, Peggy Wilkinson of Fairchild, Cindy Warner of Fall Creek and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She is further survived by the Whalen family, Bill (Kathy), Brian (Laurie), Bob (Cynthia), Brad (Rhonda), Kathleen (David) Marschinke, Julie (Carol). She was preceded in death by her father Robert Warner, sister Crystal Dake, brother Kit Warner and brothers-in-law, Ernie Hadorn, Robert Kutcher and Charlie Wilkinson.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 23, 2017 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta, and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the United Methodist Church
in Augusta. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church. Lunch will be served immediately following services at the Augusta Lions Hall.
Private burial will be at a later date.
