Jose Bonilla Rodriguez
Jose Bonilla Rodriguez died suddenly on Thurs, Nov 23, 2017, in Eau Claire, at the age of 56.
He was born in Tetelcingo, Veracruz, Mexico, in 1961, the son of Alonso Bonilla Islas and Ignacia Rodriguez. He immigrated to Wisconsin in 2009. He was an active member of St. Mary’s in Altoona, together with his wife Juana Villegas Rodriguez and his children. Locally in Eau Claire, he is survived by his children: Ignacio, Luz, Angelica, Lucero, and Carlos Alonso; by his stepchildren Esteban and Miguel Angel; and by his brothers Manuel and Francisco. He is also survived by several other siblings and relatives in Mexico.
A Spanish language funeral Mass is planned at St. Mary’s Altoona at 1PM on Saturday, Dec 2, preceded by visitation and Rosary at 11 AM. Burial will be at a later date in Mexico.
