Wanda Smith
Wanda Marie Smith, 67 of Waite Park MN, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away on September 23rd 2016, at home with her children and grandchildren after a long hard fought battle with cancer.
Wanda was born January 1st 1949 in Eau Claire, WI, to Elaine Travis and adopted by David Weeks. Wanda loved her children and grandchildren so very much and cherished the time that she got to spend with them. Wanda spent her days playing with her grandchildren, spending time with her children, crocheting and learning how to knit with her daughter Marjie, and being thankful for each additional day she got with her family and loved ones. Wanda’s laughter is still heard throughout her home.
Wanda is survived by children; Chet Wundrow, Elizabeth Wundrow, Marjie & Tim Morical, her grandchildren; Roman Wundrow, Travis Mlenar, Joseph Morical, Elaine Mlenar, Alex Phernetton, Tucker Wundrow, Shawna Mlenar, Brooklyn Blanchard, Jasmine Wundrow, Chet Wundrow and Richard Morical, and one great grandchild Jayden Morical, her sisters Trudy & Dean Rucks, Cindy Warner, Mary & Todd Zimmerman and Marsha & Glen Ries, and her bother Michael Weeks (Teri).
Wanda is preceded in death by her mother Elaine Weeks, son Duane Wundrow, daughter Wendy Wundrow and brother Alan Weeks. Together in the kingdom of heaven holding us all so near now.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday October 15th 2016, from 1:00 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta.
