Cathleen Shook
Cathleen F. Schook, 61, of Loyal, Wisconsin, passed away at her home on Wednesday, April 27,2016.
Cathleen Frances Shook, daughter of Clarence and Bessie (Wilkison) Shook was born Nov. 18, 1954 in Oakland, California. Cathleen was raised in Oakland where she attended grade and high school. She lived most of her life in California before moving permanently to Wisconsin in2005. Cathleen was united in marriage to Robert L. Bounds in Oakland and to this union her son, Robert “Robbie” was born. She later married LeRoy Jakubowski and to this marriage her 2 daughters, Patti and Lisa were born. While in Wisconsin she had lived in Augusta and for the past year had lived in Loyal. She had worked in factories and as a bartender in California, and while is Augusta she had worked at Nortech Industries. She had also worked in the daycare field until she was involved in an automobile accident that caused disabling injuries forcing her retirement. Cathleen had loved decorating and especially designing floral arrangements. She had a flare for photography and also enjoyed watching old television shows, westerns and the current forensic type programs. She cherished her role as grandma and moved to Wisconsin to be closer to her family.
Cathleen is survived by her children, Robert “Robbie” and Savanna Bounds of Neillsville, Patti Stanton and Jason Kiesow of Fairchild, Lisa and Erik Marten of Augusta; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation will be held Saturday, June 4, 2016, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta.
