Darlene Klobucar
Darlene C. Klobucar, 77, of Eleva, passed away Monday, May 9, 2016 at Tri County Memorial Hospital in Whitehall.
Darlene was born July 6, 1938 in Chicago, the daughter of Rudolph and Betty (LeMere) Hazelbauer.
Darlene grew up in Chicago where she was united in marriage to Mike Klobucar on May 27, 1961. In 1962 the couple moved to Poynette, WI, and then to Strum in 1970, where they owned and operated the Strum Locker Plant. After selling the locker they moved to Eleva in 1991. Darlene loved growing roses, riding horseback and breeding and showing A.K.C. registered Doberman Pinschers.
Darlene will be dearly missed by Mike, her husband of nearly 55 years; 2 sons, Mike (Michelle) Klobucar of Trempealeau, Kenneth Klobucar of Newburyport, MA; daughter Denise DeSerio of Madison; 4 grandchildren, Charissa, Michael, Jacob and Shelby; and brother William (Pam) Hazelbauer of Dallas, TX.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents and 3 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Raymond’s of Penafort Catholic Church in Brackett, with Father Derek J. Sakowski officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Holy Guardian Angels Cemetery. The family is assisted by the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta.
