Noel Flick
Noel G. Flick, 41, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away in hospice care on Sunday, March 13, 2016, at Skyline Madison Campus Hospice in Madison, Tennessee, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Noel Gregory Flick, son of David and Nancy (Smith) Flick was born January 5, 1975 in Hastings, Nebraska.
Noel was a child of a military family attending 9 schools in 5 different parts of the country before graduating from Ft. Zumwald High School in O'Fallon, MO, and attending Lindenwood University settling in St Charles, MO, where he married for a brief period.
Noel will be dearly missed by his parents, David and Nancy Flick of Duluth, MN, brother Christopher and Stephanie Flick of Cross Plains, TN, daughter Gwendolyn (Ariel) Flick of Clarksville TN, and niece Savannah Flick of Greenbrier TN, as well as by his loyal and intimate friends in Missouri, who unconditionally supported Noel in his daily fight to remain independent.
Noel was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Flick and Rona Flick Cantrell of Fairchild, WI, and James and Ruth Smith also of Fairchild WI.
Noel was an accomplished dealer and appraiser of Graphic Art and comics and had several careers during his life starting yet another during his illnesses as a technical Manager for Verizon.
Noel's interests were varied, he was a Graphic Artist who loved drawing, studied ancient poetry as well as collecting graphic art, unique cars, followed obscure musicians and was a rabid fan of Blues Hockey.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 21, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta, WI, with burial in the Fairchild Cemetery.
