Annette Carrington, “Punky”, 34, formerly of Fairchild, WI, passed away peacefully at home in the loving care of her family on July 12, 2016 in North Branch, Minnesota.
Annette Michelle Carrington, lovingly known as Punky was born in Houston, Texas onJanuary 26, 1982. Born with multiple birth defects she caught the heart of Stanton andNora Porter who became her parents and moved with her to Fairchild. Punky wasn’t ever totally aware of her surroundings but certainly felt the enormous love of her family. After her father passed away on Nov. 4, 2009, she remained in Fairchild with her mother. After Nora passed away on Oct. 8, 2015, Punky moved to North Branch tolive with her aunt, Edith Miller and cousin, Sue Boyle and their family.
Punky will be dearly missed by Edith and Sue and their family of North Branch; her brother Norman Howell of St. Louis, MO; 2 sisters, Susan Edington of Fairchild and Cheryl Porter of Neillsville; and several nieces and nephews. Punky was also precededin death by her sister, Colleen Benson on Nov. 8, 2014.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday July 19, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta. Burial will follow the services in the Fairchild Cemetery. Friends may call 1 hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
