Richard Zieminski
Richard A. Zieminski, 63, resident of Osseo and Summerville, South Carolina passed away suddenly Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at the Mayo Clinic Health System-Osseo.  

Richard Antoni Zieminski, son of Stefan and Maria Zieminski was born September 6, 1952 in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  As a young child he moved with his family to Orono, Maine.  Richard was raised in Orono, where he was confirmed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and graduated from John Bapst Catholic High School in 1969. After graduation he served 4 years in the United States Army, serving part of his enlistment in Germany. After his honorable discharge he returned to Orono where he graduated with a B.S. Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maine in 1978.  He was also enrolled in the ROTC program which led to his enlistment in the Army Reserves attaining the rank of Captain and served as a drill instructor at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.  Richard met Judith Heath of Osseo and the couple later married on Nov. 18, 1978 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Orono. 
Richard's career as a Project Manager spanned over 30 years and took him to numerous international and domestic locations. He spent the last 9 years of his career in the Middle East where he worked in Iraq, The United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.  Richard was also a man of many interests and hobbies. He enjoyed bonsai, yard work, and collecting unique items from his world travels. 

Richard will be dearly missed by Judith his wife of 36 years; sons, Adam Zieminski of Tampa, Florida and Derek Zieminski of Herndon, Virginia;  and mother-in-law, Luetta Heath of Osseo.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stefan and Maria Zieminski; and father-in-law Marvin Heath.  

Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at  
St. Raymond’s of Penafort Catholic Church in Brackett, with services at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
