Frank Yule
Frank Yule Sr., 86 of rural Augusta, passed away Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015 at his home in the loving care of his family and Mayo Home Hospice.

Frank was born June 23, 1929 in rural Fairchild to Burvel J Yule and Zella M (Haskins) Yule. The family moved to Osseo where they farmed together until Frank married Lueann Mahlum on June 24, 1950, when the couple moved to their home between Augusta and Osseo, a home they shared 65 years together. Frank continued to farm and raise his family while also working as a union carpenter. While working construction he spent six months in Hawaii in the late 60's, but most of his work was local. Traveling was one of Frank’s passions and he took vacations with Lueann and his family nearly every year. He frequently shared how he and Lueann have traveled to over 30 countries. Another passion was hunting which also took him on several trips to the mountains and plains out west, Alaska, Canada, New Zealand and Africa. He loved to hunt and fish with his kids and grandkids. He was thrilled to have family and friends visit the lake home and spend time visiting, fishing and riding on the boat. One of his greatest loves also includes "Nibbles", his Jack Russell Terrier.

Frank will be dearly missed by his wife Lueann; 6 children, Frank Jr. (Ellen) Yule, Janice (Randy) Bechel all of Eleva, Richard Yule (Penni Anderson) of Strum, Shirley Jean Yule of Black River Falls, Bernard (Patti) Yule and Dyan (Donald) Steinke all of Osseo; 14 grandchildren, Jeff Yule, Ryan (Amanda) Yule, Nicole Bechel, Jared Bechel (Katie Carothers), Dustin (Shana) Yule, Jacob Yule, Kelly (Heather) Yule, Andrew, Billy, Brandon and Shawn Yule, Sara (Eric) Avalos, Danyelle Steinke (Lance Stensen) Dakota Steinke; 4 great grandchildren, Madeline and Owen Yule, Zachary Avalos, Dylan Rundel-Yule; 3 step great grandchildren, Tyler, Thea and Tessa Hazelton; sister-in-law, Joan Yule; and his beloved dog Nibbles.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents; son Randy Yule; and siblings, Norma Mahaney, Harley and Verlyn Yule.

Visitation will be from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta, and from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in Augusta. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be at Thompson Valley Cemetery, rural Augusta.

The family would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Kincaid and the staff of the Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire and Osseo, its’ cardiac center and home hospice. The care and support given to Frank and the family will never be forgotten.
