Harold Skogstad
It is with deep and heavy sadness that we announce the death of Harold P. Skogstad Sr., 64 of Exland, WI who passed on Tuesday December 8th in Ladysmith Nursing Home.
Harold was born in Durand, WI August 1, 1951 to Henry and Lucille Skogstad. On October 17, 1970 he married the love of his life, Linda. Together, they had three children Tim Paul Skogstad, Harold Paul Skogstad Jr. and Jason Scott Skogstad. Harold was a great mechanic and body man. He loved cars both big and small. He had the largest car collection ever. He enjoyed car shows, discussions about cars, working on cars, and watching Nascar. Cars anything and everything to do with them is a Skogstad trait. Harold loved spending time with family and friends. We all look forward to our camping trip to Goodman every year. Four wheeling is a love of ours and Dad always led the pack. Next year’s gonna be a little scary without Dad leading. Oh and he had the “big” grill at his campsite so we could all just bring our food over and Dad cooked. One more way of making sure we were all together.
Harold is survived by his wife Linda of Exland. Two sons; Harold(Jessica) Skogstad Jr. of Conrath, Jason(Melissa) Skogstad of Glen Flora. Grandchildren; Brandee, Shannon, Bowen, Cody, Dustin, Lizzy, Justin, Morgan, Dylan, and Taylor. He is survived by his mother Lucille Skogstad of Ladysmith. He is also survived by siblings; Henry Skogstad Jr. of Illinois, Jane Tomezak of Florida, Milford Skogstad of North Carolina, Bonnie(Butch) Isaacs of Rice Lake, Tom(Bonita) Skogstad of Ladysmith, and Lorna Skogstad of Ladysmith. Harold was preceded in death by his son Tim Skogstad, his father Henry Skogstad Sr., and his sister Betty.
Services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses W7933 E Edgewood Ave Ladysmith WI 54848 on Saturday December 19, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. a dinner following the service will be held at Ladysmith Nursing Home 1001 E 11th St N Ladysmith WI 54848 715-532-5546 at 3:00 p.m.
