Clifford Schrock
Clifford P. Schrock, 89, of rural Boyd, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday evening, Sept. 16, 2015.
Clifford Paul Schrock, son of Levi and Ida (Miller) Schrock was born August 28, 1926. He married Susie Hochstetler on January 20, 1949. The couple lived in northern Indiana until moving their family in May of 1959 to their farm in Wilson Township eastern Eau Claire County, where he lived until his death. After Susie passed away on January 25, 1999, he later married Dorothy Martin on March 2, 2001.
Clifford was a member of the Augusta Mennonite Church, active and faithful to his commitment to serving the Lord.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; four children, Eugene (Norma) Schrock of Leetonia, Ohio, Virgil (Erma) Schrock of rural Boyd, Bertha (Marvin) Yoder of Madison, Indiana, Clifford, Jr. (Doris) Schrock of Arthur, Illinois; 21 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and 9 step children with their families. He is survived by his brother, Stanley (Anna) Schrock of Macon, MS and 3 sisters, Freida (Samuel) Yoder of Nashwauk, MN, Christina Schrock of Ligonier, IN and Naomi (Mervin) Mast of Goshen, IN. Clifford was preceded in death by his parents and five sisters, Lydia Ann Bontrager, Nettie Bontrager, Mary Ellen Miller, Mildred Shetler and Darlene Schrock: three brothers, Leon, LeRoy and Levi Jr. Schrock- his brother Levi Jr. died earlier also on September 16.
A visitation is planned for Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Augusta Mennonite Church on County Road GG, north of Augusta.
The funeral is planned from Monday, September 21, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Augusta Mennonite Church, with burial in the church cemetery. The family is assisted by the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta.
