Alice Nuetzmann
Alice E. Nuetzmann, 92, of the Augusta Area Nursing Home passed away Monday, November 2, 2015 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

Alice Elizabeth Nuetzmann was born June 10, 1923, in Joliet, Illinois, the daughter of William and Emma (Paul) Palmer. She was baptized into the Presbyterian faith, attended grade school in Joliet and graduated from Central High School in Joliet. Alice was united in marriage to Arthur Nuetzmann in August of 1942 in Kentucky while her husband was stationed there during W.W. II. The couple raised their 4 sons in Joliet, where Alice had worked in the office of Golblatt's Brothers Department Store. When Art and Alice retired they moved to Cookeville, Tennessee, where Alice enjoyed her involvement in the Assembly of God Church, volunteering as a greeter, with its hospice program and in the school cafeteria. After the passing of her husband in 1998, she returned to Joliet and in 2006 moved to Augusta, Wisconsin, to be near her son Robert and his family. Due to failing health she entered the Augusta Area Nursing Home in 2009.

Alice will be dearly missed by her 4 sons, Robert Sr. and Lynn Nuetzmann of Augusta, David and Patricia Nuetzmann, Steven Nuetzmann all of Joliet, Paul and Julie Nuetzmann of Augusta, Georgia; 5 grandchildren, Robert Nuetzmann Jr, Seaann Nuetzmann, Heather (Jared) Vandenberg, Sean Nuetzmann, Mary Nuetzmann; and 4 great grandchildren.

Services for Alice will be held at Elmhurst Cemetery in Joliet, Illinois, with celebrant Ken Plese officiating.
