Roberet McFaul
Robert Mark McFaul, 82, of Eau Claire died Dec. 7th, 2015 at The Clairemont Nursing Home under the care of St. Croix Hospice.  

Bob was born on July 25, 1933 to Robert J. and Ruth (Marx) McFaul. He graduated from St. Patrick’s High School in 1951. He lived in Eau Claire his entire life. He worked at Presto for a short time, then went to work for Uniroyal in 1952.

On June 20, 1953 he married Kathleen Smith in Eau Claire. He was drafted in the U.S. Army in 1954. He served as a crew chief on a helicopter and was stationed in Germany. After completing his service in 1956, he continued working at Uniroyal where he spent 39 years, starting as a tire builder and later in management. When he retired from Uniroyal, he worked as a consultant for the Michelin Tire Co. He was a member of Toastmasters club, the Elks club, Sons of Norway, Chippewa Valley German club, and Moose club. Bob was a loyal Green Bay Packer fan and enjoyed attending games in Green Bay for several decades. He was also an avid golfer on several leagues and enjoyed hunting deer in Wisconsin and elk in Colorado for many years.  

After Kathy’s death in 1993, he married Audrey Brunzlick of Augusta on May 14, 1994 in Eau Claire. They enjoyed traveling both in the U.S. and abroad. They wintered in Florida for 15 years.

Bob is a member of St. Paul Lutheran church in Augusta and an associate member at Immanuel Lutheran church in Eau Claire.

He is survived by his wife Audrey, a sister Pat Malom of Chippewa Falls, and her children, Randy (Barb) Malom and Sonja Bjork. Also stepson Larry (Sharon) Brunzlick and stepdaughter Donna (Mike) Meade and grandchildren, Brad (Stacey), Bryce, and Maureen Meade and Cadence Brunzlick, as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Beverly (Bob) Gorman.

Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 7:00 pm on Fri. Dec. 11th at Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta. Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon on Sat. Dec. 12 at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Golf Road in Eau Claire, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Eau Claire.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to either St. Paul Lutheran of Augusta, Immanuel Lutheran of Eau Claire, St. Croix Hospice or to the charity of your choice.
