George Klingelhoets
George A Klingelhoets, 88, formerly of Tripoli , WI , died Thursday, May 14, 2015 in Black River Falls , WI . George was born in Turtle Lake , WI on August 25, 1926 to August and Theresa (Minnichsoffer) Klingelhoets. On June 26, 1947 George was united in marriage to Marjorie Tricker at St. Ann ’s Catholic Church in Turtle Lake . She preceded him in death in 2004.

George graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in 1949 and later earned a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Superior. His entire career was as an educator, administrator, and guidance counselor. He taught in Northwood , ND ; Fish Creek , WI ; and served for most of his career at the Tripoli and Prentice, WI school districts. He enjoyed teaching especially the interactions with his students. George was an avid hunter and fisherman and never passed up the chance to be out in the woods or on a lake. He was active in the Tripoli-Brantwood Lions Club and the Tripoli Volunteer Fire Department. He was a long time parishioner of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tomahawk.

George is survived by two sons, William (Judy Olmanson) of Fairchild, WI and Thomas (Gale) of Estill Springs, TN. He is further survived by three grandsons and three great granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and one brother along with his wife of 57 years, Marjorie.
