Dorothy Rocha
Dorothy V. Rocha, 79, of Augusta, passed away early Tuesday evening, November 18, 2014, at the Fall Creek Valley Care Center and in the care of Mayo Clinic Hospice.
Dorothy Victoria Rocha, daughter of Joseph and Mary (Novak) Jakubowski was born October 1, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois. Dorothy was raised in Chicago, where she attended grade school and high school. She was united in marriage to John Matthew Rocha on Nov 5th, in Kansas City, Kansas. The couple began their life together in the Chicago area where they raised their family. In the late 1980’s they moved to Augusta, Wisconsin, where Dorothy was employed by Bush Brothers Canning Company, working there until her retirement in 1997.
Dorothy will be dearly missed by her loving husband, John Sr. of Augusta; 6 children, John Rocha Jr. of Elmhurst, IL, Patricia and Michael McDoniel of Oak Forest, IL, Anthony Rocha of Chicago, Joseph Rocha and Jerome Rocha both of Augusta; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is further survived by her 3 brothers, Joseph and Clair Jakubowski and Raymond and Alice Jakubowski all of Berwyn, IL, and LeRoy Jakubowski of Augusta.
She was preceded in death by her father on July 8, 1978, her mother on Nov. 5, 1991
Memorial services will be held Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014 at 4:30 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta. Friends may call one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
