Rose Fox
Rose Marie Fox, age 82 of Elk Mound, Wisconsin passed away September 16, 2014.
Rose was born November 30, 1931 in Fairchild, WI to Albert and Loretta Livermore (Livermore) Frueh. She graduated from Fairchild High School in 1949. After high school Rose worked in Chicago. She married Everett Fox September 16, 1950 and sadly passed away on their 64th anniversary.
Rose is survived by her husband Everett, five children Laura Fox (Russ), Rose Ann Johnson (Al), Butch Fox (Connie), Debbie Fox and Kim Fox. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; Brandie (Andy), Sarah, Josh, Luke, Megan (Joel), Beth (CJ) Keely, Katie (Cory), Brooke and six great-grandchildren Alison, Lilly, Weston, Tyson, Porter, Bryce and another due in January. Living siblings are Alice Vold, Carolyn Hart and Susie Niemi (Bob) and several nieces and nephews.
Rose was a home care giver to her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a alzheimer patient and a Vietnam vet. She was involved in the local 4-H club,
Big Elk Creek Church and attended many of her grandchildren's extra curricular activities. She was a master at gardening, canning and patching blue jeans. Rose loved camping, socializing with family and friends and playing cards. Her favorite partner for playing cards was her sister Louise.
We want to thank Dr. Jill Lenhart for her outstanding care and compassion as Rose's doctor throughout the years.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19 at Anderson Funeral Home, Augusta 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 20 at Big Elk Creek Church, Elk Mound Wi at 1:00pm. There will be a visitation one hour before the service.
