Elaine Peterson
Elaine (Bourget) Peterson, 84, died October 19, 2013, 2 weeks shy of her 85th birthday. Elaine Victoria was the daughter of Leonard and Loretta Bourget and wife of Wilbert (Pete) Peterson. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Pete, 5 sons Paul (Mary Jo), Gordon (Debbie), Leonard (Ramona), Howard (Dorothy), Fred (Diane) and step daughter Gloria Beuse. Elaine was a loving grandmother to 14 and great grandmother to 8. Elaine was born in Cadott, Wisconsin, moved to Chicago in 1948 to marry and raise a family. She taught us the power of acceptance and forgiveness, and a love for playing cards and a good brandy old fashioned. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 25, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cadott, with burial in St. Rose Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. on Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Family Care Center at 6141 N. Cicero Ave. Chicago, IL 60646.
