Lucille Korth
Lucille Korth, 91, formerly of Osseo, died Thursday, July 4, 2013, at the Clement Manor in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.
Lucille Sigred Korth, daughter of Sigvard and Lila (Swaim) Pederson was born April 29, 1922 in Osseo, Wisconsin . She was raised in Osseo and on June 20, 1943, she was united in marriage to Dale Willard Korth at the Elk Creek Lutheran Church in Hale Township, rural Osseo. The couple lived in Augusta, where Lucille raised her family and Dale and his brothers owned and operated Korth IGA. In 1961, the family moved to West Allis, Wisconsin, where Dale worked as a Lay Minister for St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Lucille was an active member of the church, serving as a Sunday school teacher, with the women’s ladies’ aid society and in any other capacity where she was needed.
She will be dearly missed by her son, Kim and Patti Korth of Sun Prairie; daughter, Angie Korth of West Allis; 3 grandchildren, Kerri (Todd) Richardson, Kristy (Rich) Sweigard and Kevin Korth; 2 great grandchildren, Shay and Tyson Sweigard; sisters-in-law, Lorraine Korth of Forest City, Iowa, Laila Pederson and Irma Pederson both of Osseo; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta, with Pastor Jonathan Wessel officiating. Burial will be in the West Lawn Cemetery in Augusta. Friends may call 1 hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.
