Ramona Johnson
Ramona E. Johnson, 92, of Osseo, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, surrounded by her loving family. 

Ramona Emily Johnson, daughter of John and Matilda (Flemming) Olson was born Nov. 25, 1920 in Cleveland Township, Jackson County. She attended Fairview Country School and worked at home on the family farm before her marriage to Arnold Anderson in 1938. The couple lived in the Price area, rural Fairchild where they raised their 6 children. Ramona had worked 4 years at Presto Industries in Eau Claire, before taking a job with the Osseo Hospital working as a nurse’s aid for 22 years. She retired from the hospital at the age of 62 and after her retirement enjoyed taking care of many children besides her own.  

In 1970 she was united in marriage to Clifford Johnson who was not only a devoted husband, but stepfather and grandpa to all. Cliff and Ramona made their home in Osseo, where she enjoyed all her flower and vegetable gardens and tying numerous baby blankets. With Clifford she enjoyed traveling throughout the states, camping, collecting rocks and each year faithfully attending the Hayward World Lumberjack Competition. Ramona and Clifford where baptized on Sept. 11, 1988 into the Assembly of God Church in Augusta. Throughout Ramona’s life she shared a deep love for her Lord and her church involvement was an important part of her life.  

She will be deeply missed by her 5 children and daughter-in-law, Donna Young of Blair, (daughter-in-law) Julie Ann Anderson of Apple Valley, MN, Pastor Dale and Doris Anderson of Belvidere, IL, Rodney and Loree Anderson of Albert Lea, MN, Linda and Keith Velie of Eau Claire, Ralph Anderson of Osseo; sister Audrey Bloom of Whitehall; 25 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, other relatives, friends and her church family. 
   

Ramona was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Arnold Anderson and Clifford Johnson, son Gary Anderson and siblings, Martha Reetz, Herbert Kleven, Richard and Grant Olson. 

Funeral services will he held Friday, Oct. 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church in August, with Pastor Dale Hazard officiating. A visitation will be held Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the church and also from 10:00 a.m. until time of services on Friday at the church.
