Phyllis Harriman
Phyllis U. Harriman, 91, of Osseo, died early Thursday morning, Oct. 17, 2013 at the Oakridge Nursing Home in Osseo.  

Phyllis Harriman, daughter of Archie and Esther Bradshaw was born June 20, 1922. She was raised in Augusta, where she graduated as class valedictorian from Augusta High School in 1940. On June 7, 1944 she was united in marriage to Clinton “Bud” Harriman in Osseo. The couple farmed in the Osseo area until moving into the city of Osseo on July 27, 1986, two years later Clinton passed away on Sept. 30, 1988, after 44 years of marriage. 
Phyllis had been a member of the Osseo United Church of Christ for 59 years, where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the Women’s Fellowship. She enjoyed traveling with her family and long time school friend, Janice Knuth. With Janice she tried to attend any function relating to the class of 1940. She also loved watching baseball and the Green Bay Packers and the relaxing times watching the birds, crocheting and reading. She especially loved spending time with her family and looked forward to the annual family Christmas party.  

Phyllis will be deeply missed by her 3 sons, Robert “Jim” and Janice Harriman of Eau Claire, 
Richard "Dick” and Judy Harriman of Albert Lea, MN, Alden and Sheryl Harriman of Papillion, NE; 3 daughters, Nancy Thompson of Dubuque, IA, Lori and Charles Fremstad of Osseo; 

She was also preceded in death by her parents, siblings, James Bradshaw and Vera Miller and daughter Gale Harriman on Sept. 3, 2008.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Oct. 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Church of Christ in Osseo, with Pastor Les Munnik officiating. Burial will be in the Osseo Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the church, and one hour prior to services Monday also at the church. The family is assisted by the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta.
