Tina Grimm
Tina D. Grimm, 52, of 316 E. Washington Street, Augusta, passed away suddenly at her home on Sunday, September 15, 2013.
Tina Darlene Grimm, daughter of Charles and Dorothy (Kerttula) Mayne was born March 11, 1961 in Cloquet, Minnesota. As a young girl she moved with her family to Rock Falls, Wisconsin and graduated from Durand High School. Following graduation she helped her father operate a horse stable in Rock Falls. In the early 1980’s she met Kurt Grimm and the couple were united in marriage on January 28, 1984 in Eau Claire, to this union their 4 children were born. The couple began their life together in Altoona before moving to Augusta. In addition to always loving horses she enjoyed watching movies but the best times of her life were spent with her family and playing with the grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Kurt Grimm of Augusta; 3 sons, Kris and Kelly Grimm, Kevin and Cara Grimm and Kyle Grimm all of Augusta; daughter, Kendra and Jeremy Skinner of Fall Creek; her mother, Dorothy Mayne of Augusta; 3 sisters, Trudy and Kenny Olson of Minneapolis, MN, Bonnie Olson of Augusta, Dora and Randy Johnston of Mondovi; brother, Robert and Jane Mayne of Minneapolis, MN; 9 grandchildren, Makayla, Andrew and, Montana Grimm, , Caiden, William and Braxtin Grimm, Isaac, Jackson and Benjamin Skinner .
Tina was preceded in death by her father Charles Mayne, aunt and uncle, Gloria and David Erickson, and cousin Karie Erickson.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta. Friend may call on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. up until time of services at the funeral home.
