William Arries
William J. Arries, “Bill� 87 of Augusta, passed away at his home early Tuesday, May 28, 2013, in the loving care of his family and St. Joseph’s Hospice.  

William Junior Arries, son of William and Olive (Henry) Arries, was born Oct. 25, 1925, in Otter Creek Township, rural Augusta. He attended Thompson Valley Country School and graduated from Augusta High School. Bill was united in marriage to Inez A. Erdman on June 21, 1947, in Elkader, Iowa. Bill was baptized and confirmed on March 27, 1955.  

Bill will be dearly missed by Inez, his loving wife of 65 years; 4 daughters, Marvel (Steve) Barka of Fall Creek, Franchion (Keith) LeMere of Galesville, Malia Arries (Darrell Shelby) of Rhinelander, Shonnie (Art) Brazeau of Eau Claire; son William Arries (Linda Smith) of Eau Claire; sister, Aubrey Wittren of Altoona; 
8 grandchildren, Kevin Barka, Jenni Haak, Mitch Barka, Mindi King, Casey Barka, Nick LeMere, Clay Le Mere, Peter Brazeau; and 10 great grandchildren.  

He was preceded in death by his father, William on March 9, 1935, mother, Olive on March 25, 1991 and brother, Brooks Arries.  

Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at. Grace Lutheran Church in Augusta, with Pastor Cal Siegel officiating. Burial will be in Thompson Valley Cemetery, rural Augusta. 

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta, and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.Â
